Cookies
...not just for kids
Sure,
they get lots of bad press, but if you want to login only at the start
of your visit to the site, and not every time you access a members-only
page, then cookies are the answer.
Now rest assured, we are not tracking your every move, nor sending your
personal information to any third-party sites. The only cookie set on
this site is sent only to our server, and is automatically deleted each
time you close the browser (you can even go into your "temporary
internet folder" to verify this).
If you are having to enter your username and password more than once per
session you should change your browser setting to allow per-session cookies
on the website.

Managing Cookies Site-By-Site
To control
cookies on a site-by-site basis:
1. While
logged into the event website that you want to accept cookies from.
2. Open the Tasks menu, choose Privacy & Security, and then choose
Cookie Manager.
3. Choose "Unblock Cookies from this Site"
When you
are warned (while browsing) that a web site is requesting to set a cookie,
you can click Yes to allow or No to deny the cookie.
You can also select the option for your browser to "Remember this
decision."
If you select
"Remember this decision," you will not be warned the next time
that site tries to set or modify a cookie, and your "yes" or
"no" response will still be in effect.
If you wish
to change a remembered response later, use Cookie Manager to edit your
list of automatically stored cookies.
